Issue: The REPLY Button Does Not Work

This issue arises due to a bug with Norton Internet Security software. It is conceivable that it arises with other Internet security software (such as firewall software), so read on even if you do not have Norton Internet Security  installed on your computer.

Here is the problem. Essentially, the Internet security software is being overzealous and mistakes the REPLY button functionality as an Internet threat. Be assured that clicking on this forum's REPLY button poses no threat to your computer. That REPLY button calls standard Microsoft code that was released back in 1996 and has not been modified since. It is entirely safe.

A simple solution is to temporarily disable your Internet security software while you post a reply to the forum. A more permanent solution is to identify www.riskchat.com as a trusted website for your Internet security software. Here is how. The following instructions apply for Norton Internet Security 2005 software, but the steps will be similar for other software.

Solution for Norton Internet Security 2005

1) Open Norton Internet Security 2005.

2) Under Status & Settings, select Personal Firewall, and then click Configure.

3) Select the tab Networking and within that tab, select the tab Trusted.

4) Below that tab, click the ADD... button.

5) Type www.riskchat.com into the window that opens, and then click OK.
