Glyn, But I would like to remind you that Barrow's triangle does not allow you to define dy/dx without the idea that in the limit dx goes to zero. So you commentary on Barrow's triangle is not at all a rigorous way to define dy/dx, as you claim. You have not addressed this important observation I made, in regard to your exchange with the math professor. Sanjay
